Mie noodles & un alt sos pesto (Mie noodles & another type of pesto)

Bucataria asiatica devine una dintre preferatele mele si imi place foarte mult sa descopar feluri noi de mancare, sa incerc sa le gatesc, dar cu atat mai mult mi-ar placea sa le degust in forma lor originala, dar cum nu preconizez nicio calatorie in viitorul foarte apropiat am facut niste noodles cu peste si m-am uitat la poze…

Ingrediente (15 min, 2 portii)

400g creveti

Mie noodles

Pesto

1 legatura busuioc

1 legatura coriandru

80g arahide (eu le-am preferat sarate)

1 chilli

2 linguri ulei de masline

1 lime

Am inceput prin a prepara sosul pesto, am pus busuiocul, coriandru, arahidele, chilli maruntit, zeama si coaja de la un lime, o lingura de ulei de masline, putina sare in robotul de bucatarie si am obtinut pasta de pesto. Eu recomand sa gustati si sa mai ajustati dupa gustul vostru, inca putin chilli poate ar mai merge.

Am pus  o lingura de ulei de masline la incins intr-o tigaie non aderenta si apoi am pus crevetii la perpelit. I-am lasat 3-4 minute, am presarat putin piper alb si un praf de sare. Am adaugat sosul pesto si am mai lasat 1 min pe foc.

Am pus pastele la fiert, conform instructiunilor de pe ambalaj, apoi le-am scurs si am amestecat cu crevetii si sosul pesto. Va recomand sa pastrati putin din apa in care au fiert pastele si in cazul in care vi se pare ca pastele sunt prea uscate, adaugati putin apa. Deasupra adaugati coriandru, eventual mai stoarceti putin lime si pofta buna!

Asian cuisine is becoming one of my favourites and I enjoy very much discovering new dishes, to try to cook them, but even more I would like to taste the original thing, but since I do not have any trip planned in the near future, I have prepared these noodles  with pesto and looked at some pictures..

Ingredients (15 min, 2 servings)

400g shrimps

Mie noodles

Pesto

1 bundle of basil

1 bundle cilantro

80g peanuts (I used salted peanuts)

1 chilli

2 tablespoons of olive oil

1 lime

I started by preparing the pesto by mixing all ingredients into the blender until it’s nice and fine. I highly recommend to taste and adjust it as per your own taste, maybe a bit more chilies would give it a stronger kick.

In a pan I heated the rest of the olive oil and then added the shrimps for about 3-4 min, then sprinkled some white pepper and a bit of salt. I then added the pesto and left on the heat for another minute.

The mie noodles I prepared as per the instructions on the pack and then I mixed them with the pesto. If you feel the noodles are too dry, then you might consider adding a bit of the water they cooked in. Sprinkle some cilantro leaves and squeeze some lime juice and it’s ready to eat.
